Growing confidence in the future and slightly warmer views of President George W. Bush and Congress put Americans in a better mood this month, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday. The Reuters/Zogby Index, which measures the mood of the country, rose sharply to 99.3 in February from last month’s 94.2, putting it at the highest level since August.

NY Dem Election a Fraud!~
February 20, 2008
Mayor Bloomberg charges ”fraud in the New York Democratic presidential primary that produced O votes for Barack Obama in some districts.
“If you want to call it significant undercounting, I guess that’s a euphemism for fraud,” said the mayor.
Unofficial tallies on election night gave Obama no votes in 78 out of more than 6,000 election districts.
“Bush is only out for the rich in this country.”

If any democrat is elected, ALL of them say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and a good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can’t wait for it to happen.

From the most innovative leaders of our time. The “thought” leaders and the doers……..
After hearing his speech last night, I believe I witnessed our next President. I wanted to go out and March for him. The problem though I had no idea what I would be Marching about.”Oh Yah we will talk to our enemies and hold their hands”. Hip hip heray! Kumabaya my Lord, Kumbaya! (Has anyone asked what Obama, will say to Osama, when he meets him? I hope someone warns him to duck!)
We are about to elect one of the most charismatic yet empty and unqualified Presidents ever. All because he is black, charismatic and in a sick way he has a name that sounds like guys that knocked down our buildings. (Stockholm syndrome? We do have a large group of individuals in this country that will do anything to eleviate their guilt)
He is being elected by the benefactors of our entertainment dollars (thanks Oprah and Mr. Clooney) and the neighbors and teachers of our kids in school (so much for “education” Proving that education does not eqate to wisdom.). For him to be elected without putting forth any kind of agenda whatsoever all while being so unqualified is unprecedented. It is a testament to Obamas charisma.
And at least he will not be dirty or corrupt like our other politicians or at least what most believe are corrupt. He seems attractive and nice. But then so was Jimmy Carter. Up until he bought into his importance in the world I would have a beer with Jimmy, and I bet Obama might be a great bar room gentleman. However, a Clinton I think would cause an involuntary hops regurgication. Good thing we are not voting for a beer buddy.
However, I think that is how the unthinking majority will sway.
It is the Obama say nothing and smile demeanor that will win him support. His speech although riveting said nothing of substance. Hillary makes everyone sick, and McCain’s energy is like an AARP convention. Who else is left for the non thinking? In a year where records (or lack thereof)are meaningless , we will have the most liberal Senator in Congress become yours and my President.

And here I thought a Clinton was the lowest we could go.

Should the U.S. Government should provide benefits to undocumented immigrants?
Most Americans say NO.
This from the American Pulse™ Survey of 4,069 respondents. The majority of respondents said “No†when asked if they think undocumented immigrants should be given the following: Driver’s License (81.7%), Business License (89.3%), Housing Assistance (82.8%), Educational Benefits (76.7%) and Job Training (73.7%).
Honesty and integrity top the list of qualities Americans would like to see in candidates running for federal office as 81.4% say honesty, 77.6% say a willingness to tell the truth, even if it harms their position and 77.1% say a willingness to stand for what they believe in, even if it’s not in line with the position of his/her party.
mental health
November 30, 2007
Not usre how scientific this is, but I will take it:
Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats or independents to rate their mental health as excellent, according to data from the last four November Gallup Health and Healthcare polls. Fifty-eight percent of Republicans report having excellent mental health, compared to 43% of independents and 38% of Democrats.
Hillary Infiltrates Republican Debate
November 29, 2007
CNN has hit a journalistic low. They even have cut out evidence of the singers in their rebroadcast of the debates. Over at Malkin, Michelle declares:
Abortion questioner is declared Edwards supporter (and a slobbering Anderson Cooper fan); Log Cabin Republican questioner is declared Obama supporter; lead toy questioner is a prominent union activist for the Edwards-endorsing United Steelworkers

We are voting for the Leader of the free world and CNN gives us this crap. First of all don’t even get me started on a YouTube debate. Like we are supposed to believe the people are really getting a voice. Yah Right!
Maybe we are voting for the Leader of the 3rd World Countries as Texas immigrants are here illegally 50% of the time.
Half of the nearly 3.5 million immigrants living in Texas are in the country illegally, the Center for Immigration Studies says in a report being released today.
Based on the latest Census Bureau data, the report said Texas has one of the fastest-growing immigrant populations of any state. It said that 50 percent of the state’s foreign-born population — slightly more than 1.7 million people — are illegal immigrants. Only Arizona at 65 percent, North Carolina at 58 percent and Georgia at 53 percent had a higher proportion of illegal immigrants in their immigrant populations.
30% in Florida.

There is a reason Mexico is like living in a Godfather Movie. Stories of people snatching tourists goods and money from moving cars. Taking cadavers and stuffing them with drugs to smuggle across the border. Policia stealing from tourists.
We have grown because we are a nation of Laws. Mexico is a 3rd World Country because they are not a Nation of Laws.
What are we advertising to the world and to ourselves when 1/2 of our influx of new “workers” are here against the law? What are these people brining to the table? Crime?
Look at the jails they are mostly filled with illegals. Do we have to guess why? They broke the law coming here, can we guess what they will do once here?
Meanwhile our biggest name candidate for President and others are planting shills. And the Network entrusted to report this HUGE news covers it up.
The striking writers down the street could not make a better movie plot even if they got a raise. This is good stuff and CNN slips it under the rug. Oh yah. Because it wasn’t a Republican caught with their hand in the Cookie jar. It was their team.
Banana Republic we stand.
Recession what stinking recession?
November 28, 2007
Wall Street barreled higher Wednesday for the second day in a row, giving the Dow Jones industrial average its biggest two-day point gain five years after a Federal Reserve official hinted that the central bank may lower interest rates again
And more on the economy:
According to a report by The Conference Board, about 73 million US households now have discretionary (spendable) income, up from about 57 million in 2002. Total discretionary income in the US topped $1.7 trillion in 2006, with the household average at $24,335. Per capita income stood at $9,148.
Discretionary income are those people whose spendable income exceeds that held by households with similar demographic features. The proportion of the US population with discretionary income has increased to nearly 64%, up from 52% in 2002.
This coupled with Black Friday and Cybe rMonday breaking all records this is an interesting time indeed.
Great economy, great news from Iraq………….What do the Dems have to bitch about other than their poor numbers in Congress.
King Of Waffle

Well Bill Clinton is reminding us of what we will get with a Hillary Whyite House.
Full blown Arkansas Waffles. Only the kind that Bill and Hill can cook up.
Bill was for the war from the start:
That’s why I supported the Iraq thing. There was a lot of stuff unaccounted for. So I thought the President had an absolute responsibility to go to the U.N. and say, “Look, guys, after 9/11, you have got to demand that Saddam Hussein lets us finish the inspection process.” You couldn’t responsibly ignore [the possibility that] a tyrant had these stocks.
But he was always against it:
Advisers to Mr. Clinton said yesterday that he did oppose the war, but that it would have been inappropriate at the time for him, a former president, to oppose — in a direct, full-throated manner — the sitting president’s military decision.
So did he…gulp…lie?
Thanks to Drudge for the Waffle report!
