The most compelling evidence of the Brotherhood’s true aims is contained in an internal
memorandum written in 1991 by a senior Brotherhood leader and titled: “On the General
Strategic Goal for the Group in North America.†In the document, the author is strikingly clear
about the ultimate goal of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States:
“The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in
eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging†its
miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and
God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.â€3

Zogby/Reuters Poll has Bush’s job approval rating fell to 24 percent from last month’s record low for a Zogby poll of 29 percent. A paltry 11 percent gave Congress a positive grade, tying last month’s record low.
“There is a real question among Americans now about how relevant this government is to them,” pollster John Zogby said. “They tell us they want action on health care, education, the war and immigration, but they don’t believe they are going to get it.”
