  • Most of the arguments for Global Warming is given in relative terms. It sure dfidn’t snow like this when I was a kid. Forgetting that the Earth is millions of years old, and not in a 100 year vacuum. 100 years being the time period about which humans actually measured weather.
  • Gore opens much of his talks with I was the next Presdient of the United States. Anyone who was truely evolved and get past losses would not publically open up that wound over and over. However, he has a friendly audience when he jets from town to town to meet with his bleeding heart sympathizers. And in affect it starts out as a pity party.
  • As the Clinton Administration illustrated to anyone paying attention that Leftist politicians buddy up to bleeding heart ideologies for votes and power. Clinton set back Women’s Rights years. And the Women’s Rights groups were silent because it was their boy. Let’s not kill the glutaneous party because of a few rape allegations and a blow job from a gah gah, starry eyed intern. In fact, I think a Republican Senator was kicked out for flirting with young interns just recently if I am not mistaken.As I pointed out earlier, the Iraq War is is not being protested by the vast majority of American Dems because they are against the War. It is because it is not their War.

    Where in American History has 1/3 of a party wanted (see my next post) us to lose a WAR? That is sick!

    In World War II John Murtha would be hung by his short hairs for his treachery. Today he is made into a Patriot that cares about the 3,000 some real Patriots that have been killed in Iraq. Forgetting that we lost that much more  in a few hours in  “real wars”. Again it is not his war. Thus, it is a bad war.

    The Left is about Agenda hidden behind ideologies that stir ones emotion. “What, you don’t care about the environment MAN!?” This is what you get on the streets if you try to have an intelligent discussion. It turns to indignation and heated emotion. Emotion, the fuel that fires the Left’s ideologiy. Actually, it is the backbone of it’s ideology. It’s very foundation. Thus, is it any wonder, why at times it collectively behaves like that crazy ex-girlfriend who seems like she is in a state of perpetual PMS? Bizarre thoughts, irrational and irradic behavior?

    No wonder the Republicans always screw it all up when in power. Just like the Dems think everyone thinks with their bleeding hearts, the Right assumes their political foe is rational.

Definitive guide to Al Gore’s wanton disregard of the truth, Marlo Lewis

 Flemming Rose, culture editor of the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, and Bjorn Lomborg, a professor at the Copenhagen Business School.  

First, the costs associated with Gore’s plan need to be explored: 

  • The United Nations estimates that if we slowly change our greenhouse gas emissions over the coming century, we will live in a warmer but immensely richer world. 
  • However, the U.N. Climate Panel suggests that if we follow Al Gore’s path, by 2100 the average person will be 30 percent poorer.
  • In his movie, “An Inconvenient Truth,” Gore shows sequences of 20-feet flooding in Florida, San Francisco, New York, Beijing and others; yet the U.N. climate panel expects only a foot of sea-level rise over this century.
  • Gore also says global warming is bringing malaria to Nairobi; yet this is quite contrary to the World Health Organization’s finding that Nairobi is considered free of malaria; but in the 1920s and 1930s, when temperatures were lower than today, malaria epidemics occurred regularly.
  • In Antarctica, Gore presents pictures from the 2 percent of Antarctica that is dramatically warming and ignores the 98 percent that has largely cooled over the past 35 years; he also ignores U.N. panel estimates that Antarctica will actually increase its snow mass this century.
  • He also says heat waves will cost lives, but says nothing about the fact that avoided cold deaths far outweigh the number of heat deaths.
  • In the United Kingdom, for example, it is estimated that 2,000 more will die from global warming, but 20,000 fewer will die of cold.

What happens when Al Gore is to be questioned by a real Scientist? He cancels the interview:

“This was the background for the biggest Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten, to set up an investigative interview with Mr. Gore. And for this, the paper thought it would be obvious to team up with Bjorn Lomborg, author of ‘The Skeptical Environmentalist,’ who has provided one of the clearest counterpoints to Mr. Gore’s tune. The interview had been scheduled for months. Mr. Gore’s agent yesterday thought Gore-meets-Lomborg would be great. Yet an hour later, he came back to tell us that Bjorn Lomborg should be excluded from the interview because he’s been very critical of Mr. Gore’s message about global warming and has questioned Mr. Gore’s evenhandedness. According to the agent, Mr. Gore only wanted to have questions about his book and documentary, and only asked by a reporter. These conditions were immediately accepted by Jyllands-Posten. “Yet an hour later we received an email from the agent saying that the interview was now cancelled. What happened? One can only speculate. But if we are to follow Mr. Gore’s suggestions of radically changing our way of life, the costs are not trivial.” We need to ask hard questions.
