An Inconvenient Truth

It is inconveninet to go against popular Memes. Say a lie enough and it becomes self evident.
The media and left wing politicians have purported a many lies, but this recent one became a movie by their favorite Icon. Al Gore.
The problem is that Global Warming is hoax without any real science to back it up.
“There is an overwhelming bias today in the media regarding the issue of global warming. In the past two years, this bias has bloomed into an irrational hysteria. Every natural disaster that occurs is now linked with global warming, no matter how tenuous or impossible the connection. As a result, the public has become vastly misinformed.”
This from David Deming, an associate professor at the University of Oklahoma and an adjunct scholar with the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA), testified this morning at a special hearing of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. The hearing examined climate change and the media. Bellow are excerpts from his prepared remarks.
The problem has always been that the “scientists backing the notion of Global Warming have been scientists that have nothing to do with climatology. Its like having your Doctor comment or work on your plumbing.
Meanwhile the media does what it does. Salivate over non issues as long as they invoke emotion.
Thus the Producers Guild of America will honor the eco-documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” with the 2007 Stanley Kramer Award, which recognizes “work that dramatically illustrates provocative social issues.”
It is incredably arrogant of us to think that we could possibly affect something that occured long before us and will long after us. Besides common sense dictates that we have only been able to record temperature for 100 years. Anything before that is huge speculation.
