The Media’s War in Iraq

November 28, 2006

Obviously emboldened by their thin victory this past month, the Left leaning popular media has declared war on the Bush administration by declaring that the War in Iraq is nothing less than a Civil War.

Someone should tell these guys:

Iraqi-owned real estate development firm, Empire Holdings, recently revealed that it was undertaking a $350 million real estate project in the northern Iraqi town of Erbil.

Representatives of Empire Holdings explained that opportunities in the province were very good, especially in real estate, according to Khaleej Times.

“Kuwaitis are already participating,” he said, “and the Emiratis are also very interested,” said Empire’s co-founder and president, Shwan Al-Mulla at a recent press conference in Dubai.

The reason for my post is that although we have lost a few thousand men. We have lost much more in other Wars. Like 450,000 in World WarII. In fact we lost much more men in a couple years on Normandy Beach than we have in a few years in Iraq.

Heck I just read that Illegal Aliens kill 9,000 Americans a year.

Why no outcry? BUSH.

Thats it period. The Left Leaning institutions hate the fact that this guy got the Twin Towers. Yes. They see it as a gift. “Damn why not 3 years ealier?” they they think.

So he was given actual proof to support what Republicans are supposed to be known for. You literally had Democratic Senators in Iraq pre-war telling us what a lovely place it was. They worked harder to de-justify the War in Iraq than to help secure that a 9/11 will never happen again.

Look at the “journalism” to debunk the intelligence. Where is the journalism about 9/11.I am not talking Oliver Stone Docu movies or History Channel Documentaries.

Where is the real journalism? The Left’s journalism is best storied by a Dan Rather hard hitting investigative reporting. Meaning there is none. If you recall Rather was given a story without any fact checking. Never mind the facts when their is a good emotional story to fan the flames of the Leftist cause.

Never mind that Farenheit 9/11 was docu crap. Just like Americans buy the National Enquirer they buy the Cinematic version thru Moore incorporated.

Prop Icons like Valerie Plame, Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore. Say Bush lied without specifics. No Weapoins of Mass Destruction. Please there is enough evidence that they existed from Books, and even a DOD website.

As I said this anti-war movement is not about the Lefts dislike for WAR.The reason it caught traction is their dislike for Bush.

Moores Glimpse of The Future

Arguably the lies and distortions in Iraq that has empowered the Left started with Michael Moores DocuDrama Farenheit 911.

Well if you would like a glimpse into the Democrats Agenda check out Moores sarcastic Olive Branch.

Ethics Problems For Murtha as Early as 1980?

November 13, 2006

This video is from a 1980 sting by the FBI.Murtha did not take the money, but said he would later on.

This from the Abscam videos:

Award Winning Jack Anderson characterized the Pennsylvania Democrat’s interaction with the FBI as “perhaps the saddest scene on the secret Abscam videotapes. … He refused to take the money, but his reason was hardly noble.”

“I want to deal with you guys awhile before I make any transactions at all, period,” Murtha explained. “After we’ve done some business, well, then I might change my mind. … I’m going to tell you this. If anybody can do it – I’m not B.S.-ing you fellows – I can get it done my way. There’s no question about it.”

Murtha went from boasting about his ability to get things done in Congress to explaining his hesitation about taking money.

“All at once, some dumb [expletive deleted] would go start talking eight years from now about this whole thing and say [expletive deleted], this happened,” Murtha says, according to the transcript. “Then in order to get immunity so he doesn’t go to jail, he starts talking and fingering people. So the [S.O.B.] falls apart.”

The FBI undercover officer then suggests: “You give us the banks where you want the money deposited.”

“All right,” agreed Murtha. “How much money we talking about?”

“Well, you tell me,” says the FBI undercover operative.

“Well, let me find out what is a reasonable figure that will get their attention,” said Murtha, “because there are a couple of banks that have really done me some favors in the past, and I’d like to put some money in.”

See the sad interaction here:

Gun Control in DC and Iraq

November 13, 2006

If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000 troops in the Iraq theatre of operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2,112 deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 soldiers.

The firearm death rate in Washington D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000 for the same period. That means that you are about 25% more likely  to be shot and killed in the U.S. Capitol, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, than you are in Iraq.

Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington

Americas Toughest Enemy

November 10, 2006

Off the Hugh Hewitt blog, a reference to a MI5 report:

police are working to contend with some 200 groupings or networks, totalling over 1600 identified individuals (that are part of terrorist organizations)… over 100,000 of our citizens consider that the July 2005 attacks in London were justified.  (is this the Stockhom Syndrome?)

The propaganda machine is sophisticated and Al-Qaida itself says that 50% of its war is conducted through the media. In Iraq, attacks are regularly videoed and the footage downloaded onto the internet within 30 minutes.

The enemy has been emboldened by Americas failure to defend itself. Our elections have defeated us before. Has it now?

Thank your gutless media and minds that are shaped by Comedy Central.

Payback For 2000

November 10, 2006

Payback is a bitch. And the Dems aim to slap the Republicans for “stealing” their election. Power is the Dems entitlement.

Yesterday Pelosi declared “we are not at war, its just a situation”.

American Strength appears not to be an option for the new regime.

Do You Think We Are Seen as Weaker Because of the Democrats?

November 10, 2006

The Dems love to worry about what the world thinks about us. Do they care the World sees us weakened? Do you think the German guy below would have dared go down this road if we won?

Exclusive: Charges Sought Against Rumsfeld Over Prison Abuse

A lawsuit in Germany will seek a criminal prosecution of the former Defense Secretary and other U.S. officials for their alleged role in abuses at Abu Ghraib and Gitmo
http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1557842,00.html
Yah gotta worry when Germany tries to carry the moral banner on abuse!

And I wonder if the enemy has been emboldened:
An audio clip purportedly recorded by the leader of Iraq’s al Qaeda wing, has been posted on the internet gloating over the resignation of US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and boasts that the group has 12,000 armed fighters ready to fight US troops in Iraq.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/worldnews.html?in_article_id=415723&in_page_id=1811
And al Queda claiming vistory so far in Iraq:

Wait I thought these were Iraqi renegades we were fighting? Since when does Al Queda have anything to do with Iraq? We have been told by our Democrat leaders that Al Queda has nothing to do with Iraq.
Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed in a new audio tape Friday to be winning the war faster than expected in Iraq and said it had mobilized 12,000 fighters who had “vowed to die for God’s sake.”

Its A Glum World

November 8, 2006

Exit Polls showed that people felt horrible about their future and their finances.

Be forewarned that those polls will flip flop come January or February as now the Left leaning pollsters will be able to say all is good.

Of course all has been good. Lowest unemployment ever, Higher home ownership ever, highest Dow ever.

Another quick question what happens in a year when the idea of an exit out of Iraq does not seem near? How will the Pelosi Teddy Congress frame it?
