The Dow Hit a Mid Day high today!
The Dow Jones industrial average this morning passed the 11,900 mark for the first time, as strong projected earnings for McDonald’s Corp. and a 71% quarterly profit PepsiCo Inc. were positive signs for investors despite a slowing economy.
The Dow rose as high as 11,917.68 in mid-morning trading, surpassing its previous intraday high of 11,872.94.Â
This after last friday Former Fed chief Greenspan declared the housing bubble just a hickup. It was an interesting article as he said that the recent boom of the last years were because of open markets not lower rates.
