America Under Attack

The violence in Iraq is escalating against our soldiers. We have an election in a little over a week. Coincidence?
Gee, does it become clear who the enemy wants to win in the U.S.?
I had a conversation last week with a very conservative friend that I would place in the religious Right. Not shockingly, he shared with me that he is dissapointed that we are in Iraq.
He said how anyone could think that the three factions of Islam could ever get along is amazing. I shared that I remember in Gulf War I, that was the exact reason we did not go get Hussein, for fear of destabilizing the region.
Thus, I said the reason that we are in Iraq are not what we have been told. Sure, I still believe that we went for Weapons of Mass Destruction, and attrocities against humanity.
But hell, we could have closed our eyes and picked many spot on the Globe under that reasoning.
Thus, we had to have a strategic military reason to be there.
Hmm, let’s see. I think it is easy. Iran is right next door. They have funded terror accross the globe against Western Socieites. They are in the “founders” club when it comes to terror.
Make no mistake that we are at war with Iran. Look at the Insurgents. Without help from Iran and Syria and Al Queda, our guys are sipping Mai Ties and partying.
Al Queda and Syria are not part of this without Iran. So unfortunately, or fortunately, our Soldiers have a target on them several thousand miles away from American Soil.
Okay, for those in the slow group on the Left, let me spell this out. That means they are not targeting here. There resources are being spent over there. We systematically are taking out a generation of terrorists under the guise of helping a Country create a Democracy.
We have lost a llot of men. But, we lost more in the first few days of Viet Nam, or even stroming the Beach at Normandy. I wonder what John Murtha or Cindy Sheehan would have said after the dead carnage of American boys was reported from Normandy Beach.
Here is a broadcast into the future. Whomever wins in a little over a week will do nothing to bring the boys home. They are doing what they do. They are being soldiers. Sure the Dems  will rattle a few cages to make the Murtha/Moore faction happy. But nothing will change as we create further security for ourselves here while our boys face danger there.
Meanwhile, we still are being fronted by Venezuela as a true enemy on the South and immigration must be dealt with for National Security reasons. Read the Tancredo Report.

This is another email letter that you never really know the source but interesting none the less.
Written in response to a series of letters to the editor in the Orange County
Register:
Dear Editor:
So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of
immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of
Liberty because the people now in question aren’t being treated the same as
those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry.

  Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr.Lujan
why today’s American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any
longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to
the United States, people had to get o ff a ship and stand in a long line in New
York and be documented Some would even get down on their hands and knees and
kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new
country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in
their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with
their new home.
They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life
and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one

Paris France Makes For Insanity!

- Around a dozen Japanese tourists a year need psychological treatment after visiting Paris as the reality of unfriendly locals and scruffy streets clashes with their expectations, a newspaper reported on Sunday.
“A third of patients get better immediately, a third suffer relapses and the rest have psychoses,” Yousef Mahmoudia, a psychologist at the Hotel-Dieu hospital, next to Notre Dame cathedral, told the newspaper Journal du Dimanche.
Sounds like a good theme for a Heavy Metal song! “I went to Paris to clear my head!, Came back foggy and delirious instead. Grimy people, pestulant walks, noone is friendly in the land of frogs!”

Raise taxes!
Thats what will happen to the people of America if the Dems take control of Congress.
The mantra this year is Soak the Rich and ease up on the middle class.
Yah, “try this Jesus juice, it will makie you feel better sweety!” They remind me of Jim Jones.
Under Bush, the Rich are paying more taxes than almost ever!
The IRS just completed their analysis of 2004 tax returns,(as reported by Kiplinger Tax Letter dated October 6, 2006).
Relatively speaking, people that earn high incomes are bearing the second highest burden since the 1986 Tax Reform Act passed.
- The top 1% of filers paid 36.9% of all income taxes, up from 34.3% the year before, but represented just 19% of total Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). An AGI of at least $328,000 was needed to be classified in the top 1%.
- The top 5% of tax filers paid 57% of total income tax received by the IRS, and made 33% of total AGI. These filers all had incomes of $137,000 or more.
- The top 10% of all filers - those with AGI’s of at least $99,100 - bore 68% of the income tax burden, but only represented about 44% of total Adjusted Gross Income.
- The bottom 50% of filers paid just 3.3% of total income tax, down from 3.5% the prior year. This was the lowest figure in recent years.
- The lowest-income earners actually had a NEGATIVE income tax rate, due to the Earned Income Credit refunding income and payroll taxes.
Under a Republican President George W. Bush, the lowest earners in America are paying less tax than they have in years.

CNN Money points out, “While the 1.77 rate is well below all the monthly readings from the second-half of 2003 through the first half of this year, it is still a solid number. Only one month in the 10-year period from 1992 through 2001 had more starts.â€

State agents on Friday searched the campaign office of a Republican congressional candidate whose campaign mailed thousands of intimidating letters to Hispanic immigrant voters. About 10 uniformed Department of Justice agents arrived with a search warrant and could be seen opening cabinets, scouring desks and packing up a computer inside the storefront campaign office of Tan D. Nguyen, a Vietnamese immigrant trying to unseat a popular Democratic incumbent.
The letter, written in Spanish, was mailed last week to an estimated 14,000 Democratic voters in central Orange County. It warns, “You are advised that if your residence in this country is illegal or you are an immigrant, voting in a federal election is a crime that could result in jail time.”

How is that a lie? How is that more importantly a crime? It isn’t.
In fact the letter is pretty spot on considering the Democrats consistent attempts at getting illegals in the OC to vote for them in the last campaigns.

Dems/Move-On Anti Work?

In an effort to get out the Vote, Move-On is asking its fan base to take the day off on election day.
From a rah rah newsletter that just hit my inbox:
Do you ever wish you could quit your day job and work to take back Congress? Well, on Election Day, you can come close: Take the day off work on Tuesday, November 7th and be part of something big.
Skip your annoying commute. Skip those endless meetings. This election is the best chance we’ve had in years to change the direction of our country. And we have a plan to put dozens of races over the top by making hundreds of thousands of get-out-the-vote phone calls on Election Day—but we can’t do it without your help.
Well, I am sure their employer will appreciate this. And since most people cannot just take a day off, except for emergencies, what prey tell does Move-On want them to do-lie that they are sick?
“Dishonesty ; the way of the Left. Get Out the vote, don’t go to work. ” The overtones are too funny. This whole letter confirms the stereotype of the Democrat philosophy.
I say vote Democrat and you eventually won’t have a job to not go to.

Wesley Snipes, “Sniped” for Tax Evasion

Actor Wesley Snipes allegedly failed to pay nearly $12 million in taxes and did not file returns for six years. He wasindicted Tuesday on eight counts of tax fraud.
He is accused of  fraudulently claiming refunds in 1996 and 1997 on taxes already paid he also failed to file returns from 1999 and 2004.
It sounds like he signed up with one of those Tax Return Companies that claim that Taxes are unlawful. As according to AP his preparer,American Rights Litigators gets 20% of the refunds form the Government and claim he only has to pay on foreign incomes.
According to the Feds Wesley Snipes had his taxes prepared by accountants with a history of filing false returns to reap payments for their clients.

Who would Osam Bin Laden Voite for? Republican or Democrat?
A vote for Democrat is simply Voting on the side of the Terrorists. That sucks that he would even be able to choose an American side. But the truth hurts. The Dems have fallen to under the spell of the radical Left and follow the agenda of Moore and Company.
Cut and Run and Tax and Spend and Blame America First are not just slogans.
Like the play ground, calling some one “fatty” may not be nice, but it usually comes from a small to large grain of truth.
There is a problem on the Left that if this was another time besides the days of Political Correctness, the word Traitor would be used to characterize the Moores and Murthas of the Country instead of an opposing opinon.
Freedom without responsibility is eventually lost.
Earthquakes, Katrina, 9/11 Its Bush’s Fault!

Well it is becoming almost comical if not for the dumb block of voters that believe anything.
I was once asked by an Ivy league grad, “How could I vote for a Cocaine user (Bush)”?
9/11 was Bushes fault as proven my Michael Moore.
Katrina was all Bush’s fault because he wouldn’t vote for the Kyoto Accord.
And we find out from the Daily Kus that the earthquake in Hawaii was caused by Bush’s foreign policy. Therefore, Kus says if you are Hawaiin you must vote Democrat.
Hey, I know as a blog we are not beholden to any journalistic integrity. But holy smokes dude! Is Kus smokin’ Crack?
