Iraq Better Without Sadaam

September 11, 2006

Howard Dean head of the Democratic Party says Iraq is better with Sadaam in power.

Thus, crapping on the close to 3,000 dead American Soldiers that have died in the Iraq war. What happened to supporting the soldiers Howard?

Cheney has replied of course that Dean is wrong(as usual).

Cheney: World is better off with Saddam out of power
San Jose Mercury News - 9 hours ago
By Michael McAuliff. WASHINGTON - Vice President Dick Cheney on Sunday admitted to error after error when it comes to Iraq, but insisted it was no mistake to topple Saddam Hussein. Cheney, in a TV interview

After watching the Path to 911, I can see why the already shaky legacy of the Clinton Whitehouse was upset.

To quote the Donny Walberg character:

“What are we fighting a law and orderly war?”

No Marriage Ever For Brad

September 8, 2006

Bradgelina

Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able,” the 42-year-old actor reveals in Esquire magazine’s October issue, on newsstands Sept. 19.

So I guess when Ted is able to Marry his boy child lover, and Fred can marry his dog, Brad will Marry Angie? Nice excuse dude.

Bad Intelligence?

September 8, 2006

Lots of examples of hypocracies here today on the eve of 9/11.

Now that Armitrage has confessed to outing CIA desk worker Plame, the mediaa and Chris Mathews are not too interested. Now that of course it doesn’t indict Rove or Cheney.

And the Path to 9/11 is reportedly under some sort of revision upon deep pressure from Clintonistas and the Democratic party themselves. How soon they forget Daschle called CBS’ decision to kill the  REAGANS series apalling.

Then a declassified document being released by the Senate Intelligence Committee claiming there’s no evidence Husein had a relationship with Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and his Al-Qaida associates. Tony Snow rightly played it down stating that it is “nothing new” and that there is a reason that both ailes voted overwhelmingly to go to war.

This report of course is contrary to many other reports from intelligence sources and media.

Seems, the Dems know this election is about National Security and that they are in trouble.

Path to 911 Is Bugging Clinton

September 7, 2006

Path to 911

Have you ever seen an ex President play cover up?

ABC’s movie The Path to 9/11, is set to air Sunday and Monday night. However ex President Clinton says the movie  misrepresents Bill Clinton’s pursuit of Osama bin Laden, and he is demanding that the network cancel the show if changes aren’t made.

Clinton refutes several scenes that paint a scenario that  he was too distracted by the Monica Lewinsky scandal to focus on bin Laden.

The letter, written by Bruce Lindsey, head of the Clinton Foundation and Douglas Bond, a top lawyer in Clinton’s office, claims: “The content of this drama is factually and incontrovertibly inaccurate and ABC has the duty to fully correct all errors or pull the drama entirely.”

ABC spokesman Jonathan Hogan pointed out that the miniseries is a “dramatization, not a documentary, drawn from a variety of sources, including the 9/11 commission report, other published materials and personal interviews.”

Po Folk On the Bayou

I get emails, this isfrom email so take it as Urban legend or truth. I only print them when I know there is at least some of it that seems true to me.

What You Need to Know About Louisiana

1.  Public schools rank last in the number of computers per student –1 in 88 have use of one.

3.  47% of the state’s public schools are “academically unacceptable.”  This isn’t just due to incompetence.  It’s also due to corruption.  Former Congressman Billy Tauzin once said, ” Half of Louisiana is under water, and the other half is under indictment.”

3.  It has the second highest percentage of adults who never finished high school

4.  Adjusted for population size, the state ranks third in the number of elected officials convicted of crimes (Mississippi leads the pack.)

5.  Recent scandals include the conviction of 14 state judges, and an FBI raid on the business and personal files of a Louisiana! congressman.

6.  In 1991, a corrupt democrat named Edwin Edwards ran for governor against KKK republican David Duke.   Edwards won with a campaign slogan “Elect the Crook.”  Edwards is in prison for taking bribes from casino owners. Duke was just released from prison after serving time for tax fraud.

7.  New Orleans has the nation’s most corrupt and least effective police department and the city has the nation’s highest murder rate.  Fifty officers have been convicted of crimes that include murder, rape and robbery, and two former police officers are on Death Row.

8.  Mayor Nagin turned down the offer of a Texas scrap metal firm to pay the city $100 each for hauling away abandoned automobiles that litter the city.  Now, he’s considering signing a contract to pay another firm $23 million dollars to do the same job!

9.  $10 billion dollars are about to pass into the thieving hands of politicians in the first and third most corrupt states in America.  Worried about looting?  We aint seen nothing yet.

10.  The mayor, city council and police chief of New Orleans are democrats.

11.  The governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general of Louisiana are democrats.

12.  Thirty-nine Louisiana state senators are democrats.

13.  Sixty-seven out of 105 state representatives are democrats.

14.  The congressman from New Orleans is a democrat and one of the states two senators is a democrat.

This pretty much explains why Katrina was all George Bush’s fault.

Rock Star SuperNova: Storm Does Large

Storm Large Rocked with Sufragette City and her own original “what the * is lady like if ladies like what you do”.

Well it went something like that anyway. Meanwhile Magni is was pretty good. Lukas sucked doing wierd version of “Living on a Prayer”.

Dilana opened with a dramatic announcement that she just tore her calf muscle. She was picked up and placed on a chair and sang a Who Song. She stood up for the second song and somehow found the strength to bounce around. Alittle too dramatic for me. Like she was going after the sympathy vote. Bad.

Toby was alright. Overall I gotta give it to Storm tonight.

PAC TEN Dominance?

September 3, 2006

I had high hopes for the West Coast to put to rest that the real power is on the Left side of the Country.

With #9 Cal banging it up against Tennessee, I thought the world would finally see. Ooops. Bad idea. Everyone it seems had high hopes. This morning on Google News:

It’s time to be bullish on Cal’s Bears
Scripps News, DC - Aug 18, 2006
as a rookie head coach in 2002 to find a sinking ship of dissension and an acceptance of losing. The Cal Bears were 1-10 in 2001.

Cal Bears wonder if it’s time to smell roses
Stockton Record, CA - Aug 20, 2006
in Berkeley these days, why shouldn’t Cal fans be thrilled about their favorite team’s prospects? The prognosticators expect big things. The Bears were picked

Cal showed that they are grossly overrated. And Google News Now:

OK, about that whole ‘national power’ thing …
San Francisco Chronicle - 3 hours ago
(09-03) 04:00 PDT Knoxville, Tenn. — Of all the lessons Cal can absorb after Saturday’s reputation-destroying beating by Tennessee, the one that jumps to mind first is this idea that the Southeastern Conference is something to fool with.

all 304 news articles »Rounding it out we say Washington State get pounded by Auburn and UCLA losing to Utah(I messed up. I went off someone’s report to me instead of checking it online-UCLA killed Utah). The only PAC 10 team that did what they always do was USC. The trojans slowly wore down Arkansas in what turn out to be another blow out.

Its The Economy Stupid

September 1, 2006

Economy

Huh? Thats what Bush I was told when he was on the way to losing the White House.

The economy is in “good shape,” with Gross Domestic Product up 3.8%, and there is evidence that the quality of jobs may be improving, a Treasury Department official said today.

About 128,000 new jobs were created in month, up from 121,000 in July. “We do believe that the economy will continue to grow at a sustainable rate,” said acting assistant secretary for economic policy Robert Stein at a press briefing.

”We do see some evidence…that the quality of jobs may be improving,” Mr. Stein said, pointing to the fact that the growth rate of average hourly earnings is growing more quickly than the employment cost index, which he said indicates improvement in the quality of jobs and wages.

Can you hear the pin drop?

That is your local paper not reporting this. That is your Newsman talking about Beyoncee last night on MTV. That is the non journalism that prevails in the Country.
