Oil and Terrorism

In order to beat the terrorists we have to get off oil!
The only reason these terrorists states have money to develop anything nuclear or to be able to organize was initially because of oil. They have since then gotten into the drug business.
They we Americans love our oil and drugs. Our oil is like a drug and well our drugs are like oil.
So I have the answer to the oil problem and the terrorist problem.
Get off foreign oil! Develop our own.
This is the dissonance of all the do gooders. They have not wanted us to drill here because of the environment, but it is OK to drill all over the Arab Peninsula.
Well finally the House looks like it is trying to solve the problem:
The House voted yesterday to end a quarter-century offshore drilling ban and allow energy companies to tap natural gas and oil beneath waters from New England to Alaska.
Opponents of the federal ban argued that the nation must move closer to energy independence and insisted the gas and oil could be taken without threatening the environment and coastal beaches. They said a state choosing to keep the moratorium could do so.
The measure was approved 232 to 187.
But the bill’s prospects in the Senate were uncertain. Florida’s two senators have vowed to filibuster any legislation that would allow drilling within 125 miles of Florida’s coast.
So this would get our oil down to something reasonable, like $2.00 a gallon 
But we do need to get off it totally. Not for environmental reasons which are suspect. But to stop fudning the bad guys.
Tell your Senator to let us have our own oil and get us off the nipple of Arabia.
Star Wars and the Space shuttle

In a few hours NASA will launch the Space Shuttle.
This seems to be a rush job to get the vessel into the air after possible mishap after mishap. Some believe that this is a mission whereby the administration is rushing NASA to get this up in space because they need equipment that will strengthen our ability to defend against a possible Iranian and or Korean strike.
Star Wars is what they called it 20 years ago during the Reagan Administration.
The Democrats fought it hard. Kennedy and non other than John Kerry were right up front as always fighting it, because they always side on what sells in the Left Wing side.
Today, this program is what will save our asses and we are not totally sure it will work.
So this 4th of July be sure to thank your local Democrat. Their logo should go from ass,to Mushroom.
Fireworks and the Fourth of July

The fourth of July is a celebration of our nations start.
And the use of blasting fireworks has been around since the start.
However, those celebrations are being taken from us more and more each year, all in the name of protecting us from getting hurt.
The legal status of firecrackers typically begins with the noise they cause as well as the injuries that occur each year from idiots bringing in illegal fireworks and the belief that they help foster the use of firing bullets into the air as if in an Arab state.
I myself am guilty of dissaembling a bottle rocket and the thing went all over the place until it landed and burned a hole thru my shirt and into my chest. A valuable 8th grade lesson.
I guess those lessons and dangers are taken away from us from big brother who knows best. The challenge is that we have already forgotten much of our traditions in the name of our protection. Kids aren’t left to roam around anymore. Our kids are leass healthier than ever.
Government meddling always seems to be a bad thing.
