President Clinton weakened our defenses by allowing key technological intelligence to export to China. He also made it easier for Chinese Companies (ie. shells for the Chinese Governement) to operate inthe U.S.
Well here were are eight years later and George W. is about to let a Company owned by the Arab Emerates to run a our major ports. The Company called Dubai Ports World, INC.
I agree with Peter King who said:
“I’m aware of the conditions, and they relate entirely to how the company carries out its procedures, but it doesn’t go to who they hire, or how they hire people,” said the chairman, Representative Peter T. King, Republican of New York. Mr. King said senior administration officials had shared details of the sale with him.
“They’re better than nothing, but to me they don’t address the underlying conditions, which is, how are they going to guard against things like infiltration by Al Qaeda or someone else? How are they going to guard against corruption?” Mr. King said in an interview with The Associated Press.
Let’s be honest here. The Islamists loyalty are unto themselves. Radical Jihadists or regular guy or gal.
So if “Osama Wanna Bomba Ya”, happens to want a job with Dubomb Ports World, Inc, then I get jittery.
