Richard Dreyfuss, went after impeaching George Bush in a speech to an audience in Washington, D.C
There are tell tale signs that a liberal is a far left wing lib.
That is when they won’t admit that they are a lib.
During his address on the subject of Hollywood’s view of contemporary news media, Dreyfuss said he is not a cynic or a liberal, but is instead a “‘libo-conservo-middle-of-the-roado,’ and I have been for many years.”
Sorry for the political profiling dude but you just look and act too liberal to be anything else but. The self description is not an only a deflection, but an admittance of guilt. ‘libo-conservo-middle-of-the-roado”. Translated: I don’t stand for anything.
“There are causes worth fighting for even if you know that you will lose,” Dreyfuss said during a speech at the National Press Club. ”
Unless it is based on any sort of principle Richard.
Noting that the process was established by the country’s “founders, who we revere to check executive abuse with congressional balance,” Dreyfuss said impeachment “is a statement that we refuse to endorse bad behavior.

To restore true American values, the actor called for children to be taught “the tools of debate and dissent,” as well as a return to the principle of civility, which he called “the oxygen that democracies require else they become poisoned and die, as this democracy will.”
Freedom without responsibility leads to implosion. The liberal mindset like the above illustrates that dissent is OK, as long as it means you are not challenged to believe anything enduring except that which is your God given right. Welfare, Abortion, and well lots of anything not traditional.
Let’s see I guess Dreyfus grew up in the 50’s when so called tradional values were taught and kids weren’t smoking crack or meth in High School.
When high school actually was better than most College educations today. Oh Sir Richard doesn’t mean those teachings. He means what he learned outside of school. Dissent as in go against the anything enduring value. Anything Christian. Did you learn this Richard on your first Bowl or your second Bong experience?
Even many of your 60’s heroes activists that stood for not much, have joined the crowd, and actually have joined society, many are businessmen and oh the horror! They are Republicans.
You area n actor Richard and not very important except in that world. Which I wish you would stay. Because you are pretty good at it. In fact you are one of my favorite actors. “Opus” was life altering for me.
However, the public pays you to entertain us by acting. Not to give your opinion. Because that is about as interesting as well say a Washington DC Press Club talk. (Inspiration for story from)
