I was was talking with a client today who said he has spending much of his time with a client looking to relocate his business to Nevada.

It seems the State is sucking him dry with liability and workers comp issues. His story, unfortunately has become a larger and larger ringing in my ear as I hear this more and more.

Read this fun letter from Tom McClintock to his wife about how he budgets his household like Moonbeam budgets the state. of the how Governor Moon Beam has run this States budget into the ground.Memo to My Wife

Your Untitled Ones' Original Comments:

Big Brother is watching!
AB 661 is a bill in front of the Cal State assembly that if passed will give schools the ability to allow invasive questionnaires to be given to our children about their personal beliefs and values at home. Call your assemblyman and tell them to vote NO! This is a George Orwell wet dream!

Update~

Here is the latest on AB 661. On Thursday, May 22nd the Democrats were trying to silence Republican opposition to AB 661 on the floor. Republicans in turn walked off the floor in an attempt to prevent the bill from passing.

When Republicans agreed to return to the floor, Assemblywoman Loni Hancock puller her bill from a vote stating she would call for a future vote soon.

On Friday morning, May 23rd, Assemblywoman Hancock scheduled her bill for yet another try at passing it. However, when her bill was called she postponed it again.

Comments:

Your Untitled One wonders where our Hollywood foreign policy experts have disappeared to. Sir Sheen, Sir Farrell and Sir Michael Moore and their band of Merry men and women have all but disappeared from their soap boxes.

They were wrong. However, the fact remains they were not against any war. Their Pacificism is by choice. Your Untitled One begs for an answer to where their activism was during the Clinton era of zero tolerance for any UN participation in foreign policy, as we lobbed bomb at pretend targets and avoided any targets of real strategy.

Why you might ask, bring this up now, post Iraq?

Because this will not go away. The bad guys are out there and we either accept it or we don't. We can go mano y mano with these guys, or stick our head in the sand.

What does this all have to do with California. Well, the same geniuses that would have us put our head in the sand are about to vote on some huge bills that will add one hell of a burden on us Cali's.

Your Untitled-One predicts a mass exodus of business out of this Great  State, as we once again forget the economics that made us great.
