5-17-04 Your Untitled One wonders why Arnold is pushing for a tax on the upper income earners. Teddy getting to him? Meanwhile, Gays are skipping for joy in Massachusetts as gay marriage becomes legal. WMD's were not only found in Iraq. They have been used.
5-16-04 Why Bush For PresidentLeadership. Every success Bush has had has been because of his laser focus for change. Not unlike Ronald Reagan Bushes plan has succeeded when he has held to the plan. Like Bush you no where the man stands. Unlike Reagan Bush has reached out to be inclusive and non partisan. If you close your eyes one might wonder if this guy is a Liberal. Domestically anyway. Funny enough, Clinton acted more Republican than Bush. He begrudgingly limited abortion, brought out the rule on same sex marriage, and limited taxes. Of course he took credit for it, but he was tied up by the Conservative Gingrich lead Congress. As the election season heats up something that pundits are not discussion is that Bush is controlling the issues. Kerry can try as he likes to grab onto the War's political spoils. But it is a lost cause as the Truth of his war record is made evident. Which is why it is so easy for Kerry to bash the administration when the War trips over adversity. So what does Kerry do bash the economy? The economy is in better shape than what was given to Bush in 2000. Take away the unemployable and we are at 4% unemployment. Home ownership is the highest it has ever been. 1/4th of American households earn over $75,000. This 1 of 4 being affluent is unheard of in World history. This group spends the bulk of money spent on durable goods. Bush lowered everyone's tax. Kerry and his ilk have complained that Bush is pandering to his rich friends. Of course this is prosperous since Kerry's rich wife pays less in taxes than Bush does! The fact is that this upper group spends the money and invests the money that drives this economy.
