man who was Saddam's envoy to al-Qaida.
Al-Shamari went on to confirm that he was indeed involved in assisting Ansar al Islam, an al-Qaida affiliate responsible for attacks against Kurdish and Western targets in northern Iraq. Weapons, "mostly mortar rounds," were supplied to the terrorists, the prisoner told Schanzer.

As The President has been forced out of his Conservative skin (some might say "what conservative skin?", but that is for another day) to look at a possible Constitutional Amendment, to thwart run a way Mayors and Legislatures in Chicago, California and Massachusetts.
Side Note: It would force him out because a Conservative believes in the sovereignty of states to enact their own laws.
Run a Way because in the case of California, the state has clearly voted for only traditional man and wife marriages. This is nothing new in Cali where the greatest Democratic power is our power to vote directly thru propositions. And where, they quickly get overturned by BIG BROTHER who knows better.
Instead of discussing the TODAY Politics of this disrespect for the law. I would like to talk about the long term implications.
First off pay attention to first line of the paragraph above. Disrespect. Today's generation is growing up in a them/us citizenry. Leading to a thought process of "do what you can get away with, and watch out that you don't get caught". Isn't this what the utter lack of respect of respect for the law by these mayors doing?
Every major issue that our next generation's eyes have witnessed has been some manipulation of, or disrespect of law. OJ, Robert Blake, The 2000 Election, and a multitude of celebrity and athlete cases.
I am not here to take a side on any of them. I will mention OJ whereby I believe that both sides acted with an utter lack of responsibility. Either sides argument would be it isn't about responsibility it is about winning.
And that leads me to the modern gay movement. This gay marriage thing is doomed from the start. It will eventually die out. However, by ACTING OUT, gays bring attention to their cause, and chip one more stone out of society's moral compass.
It forces us as a nation to take a side. To take a stand.
That makes most people uncomfortable, and so we opt for the easiest next choice.( this is right out of any persuasion handbook by the way). Any stones in Society's foundation that this is morally corrupt, or repugnant has been chipped away and replaced with this is their right to live the lifestyle they choose . Ooops I blew that already. That has already been replaced with to be who they were born to be .
So what is that easiest next choice? Civil Union.
Wow doesn't that feel better? Everyone wins don't they? Now we can all be happy in the land of fruit and plenty! YaY!
Until.....Marriage comes again. this next time it will be so much easier to slip into the thought process that says, "Well what's the difference? Civil Union , Marriage? Might as well give them marriage, right?
Question? What does that imply about your marriage?
Pay attention. This chipping away today, to make tomorrow's difficult decision easier for you is an agenda.
So what happens after marriage. Man, boy relationships. There are plenty of gay books that talk about the virtues of man boy relationships. Man Boy Love

Some of us in the land of moral decay need to stand up and grow some ....backbone.
Do I need to pick on the gays? Heck lets pick on our own Catholic Priests. Ooops again!:-) Same thing? Oh well.
Do you see the problem, Do you see the moral vacuum that is coming? Are we going to live under a new generation of moral relativists that have no tolerance for law? That is what we are raising right now. When we allow rudderless judges and lawyers to pass rule on our land. This is your generation doing this. This is your generation ruling this way. This is your generation passing on their torch to our children.
